Riverstone: A Time of Gratitude

November 20, 2022

With the traditions of Thanksgiving just around the corner, many family members at the master-planned community of Riverstone will soon be coming together to enjoy each other’s company, give thanks and treasure heartfelt moments with the ones who make them happiest.

Riverstone’s entry tower is a tribute to the farming heritage of both the community and the Valley. Remnant olives groves accent many streets, preserving Riverstone’s agrarian legacy.
Many of Riverstone’s activities, events and social get-togethers take place at The Lodge community clubhouse, a unique indoor-outdoor venue comfortable enough to call your second living room.

In this same spirit of gratitude, the developers of Riverstone would like to express their appreciation to everyone who continues to make the community such an exceptional place to call home.

“As we begin to look back on this year, there are so many individuals who deserve to be thanked for their dedication in upholding the wonderful lifestyle our residents enjoy,” said Riverstone’s Tim Jones. “We’d like to thank our staff members, HOA team, homebuilder partners, construction crews working on our upcoming Riverwalk retail destination, the dedicated team at Golden Valley Unified School District, and all the teachers, administrative staff and parents who have made our onsite Stone Creek Elementary school such an incredible success.

“Of course,” continued Jones, “we simply wouldn’t have a community without our happy homeowners …so a huge thank-you goes out to the more than 1,500 families who call Riverstone home. It’s been especially rewarding this year to see so many residents enjoying our unique collection of family-centric amenities and attending our many seasonal events…which have included everything from outdoor concerts and movie nights to cornhole tournaments and food truck roundups.”

Riverstone’s developers would also like to express their gratitude to the CVLUX Luxury Awards and the voting public for Riverstone’s fifth consecutive nomination to receive the CVLUX Community of the Year Award. Riverstone won the award in 2019, 2020 and 2021, which is a prestigious accolade determined by the voting public that honors only the best of the best in the Central Valley. But this time, Riverstone has been nominated in two categories: Best Community and Best Shopping Center for its next-door retail destination known as Riverwalk.

Those who wish to vote for Riverstone and Riverwalk may cast their ballots online by visiting www.cvlux.com/voting. Voting is open until Tuesday, January 31st, 2023. Winners will be announced at the Luxury Awards celebration in March 2023.

Situated in the heart of the region’s path of growth, Riverstone—when complete—will total approximately 6,578 single-family, attached and multi-family homes. Coming soon is the one-million-square-foot Riverwalk mixed-use lifestyle retail destination. Amenities at Riverstone include walkable neighborhoods, parks and open space, a dog park, a sustainable water supply and The Lodge community clubhouse with resort-style swimming pools, a trainer-designed fitness center, demonstration kitchen, Gear Barn, outdoor gathering spaces with firepits, and ongoing monthly activities such as self-defense classes, book clubs, arts and crafts, specialty meal cooking classes and more. Future amenities are anticipated to include hiking and biking trails, a community farm and much more.
