The contemporary architecture of The Lodge at Riverstone is called “deconstructed agrarian industrialism.” But you’ll call it the coolest hangout—ever. Combining the rusticity of farm with the magnificence of the west’s National Park lodges, this truly one-of-a-kind venue is comfortable enough to call your second living room. Within its grand interior are a state-of-the-art fitness center, flexible spaces for gatherings and events, and much more. Just outside is comfortable seating around firepits and a terrace revealing a sparkling pool, spa, cabanas and a refreshments bar.

Nuts of Notoriety
Historic S&J Ranch—the farming venture that owned Riverstone’s lands in the 1950s—cultivated figs, oranges, pistachios and olives. Today, the enterprising orchardists are credited with developing the pistachio industry in Madera.
