For the developers of Riverstone,  few things are more important than education. A part of the award-winning Golden Valley Unified School District, Riverstone’s anticipated on-site schools are planned to combine expert instruction and innovative technology to equip new generations for academic success. Stone Creek Elementary, a TK-6th grade school was the first to open for the 2021 school year.

With nine schools serving nearly 2,000 students, Golden Valley Unified School District is a standout. The district’s Liberty High School, for instance, boasts a graduation rate of 96.18%, which is the highest graduation rate in the region. Golden Valley also maintains a better-than-average student-teacher ratio of 21:1, and was named a Silver Award recipient for Best High Schools from U.S. News & World Report. Athletics are strong, too. Over the years, Liberty High teams have won multiple league championships and CIF Section Championships. Other district notables are Webster Elementary, Sierra View Elementary and Ranchos Middle School, all California Distinguished Schools.
