New Restaurant & Brewery Coming to Riverwalk

Creatively imagined and conveniently situated directly across the street from next-door Riverstone, the upcoming Riverwalk retail destination is anticipated to offer a one-of-a-kind, live-work-shop-play dynamic unique to the North Fresno area. Construction continues at the highly anticipated development, which will feature over one million square feet of commercial, Class-A office and retail space in a prime central location at Avenue 12 and Highway 41.

On its way to Riverwalk—and adding to its exciting lineup of culinary options—is Blast & Brew, an American eatery and tap house. The ever-popular restaurant is known for its innovative comfort food, and a wide selection of self-pour taps serving a variety of local and regional craft beers and wines. The eatery is also known for its intimate full-service bar inviting you to a fun and dynamic atmosphere. And to top things off, Blast & Brew’s famous sister company, Me-n-Ed’s, will be located right next door to offer delivery and take-out for those who want to enjoy the delicious, award-winning, brick-oven-baked pizza from the comfort of their own homes.

“We simply can’t wait for the opening of this new and innovative restaurant concept,” said Riverstone’s Tim Jones. “Not only will Blast & Brew be a great dining spot for the entire region, but we believe it will become a convenient hangout with our many Riverstone residents. Whether it’s a steak dinner with the family, or catching a football game on the big screen with pizza, beer and good friends, it will all be just a walk, bike or golf-cart ride away.”

The new Blast & Brew location at Riverwalk complements its unique retail mix, which is designed to offer a balance of popular mainstream brands and local favorites. Coming soon will be the first Madera County location of Dutch Bros. Coffee, a much-loved brand with Oregon roots that serves specialty coffee drinks, smoothies, freezes, teas and more.

A new location of Papi’s Mex Grill is also slated for Riverwalk. A local favorite that has been serving authentic and delicious Mexican food in the Valley for nearly a decade, Papi’s focuses on grilled Mexican dishes like fajitas, seafood specialties and amazing tacos. Papi’s is also very well known for serving amazing margaritas with all-day happy hours on Sundays and Mondays.

Another hometown favorite—Judy’s Donuts—is also on its way to Riverwalk. The new location will offer its everyday collection of bars, twists, cakes, buttermilks, French crullers, classic glazed donuts and more. Judy’s is also known for its specialty creations ideal for birthdays and anniversaries—everything from its Panda and Pink Unicorn donuts to decadent berry-and-cream-stuffed croissants.

Several Riverwalk tenants are scheduled to open this fall, while others will follow throughout winter and the new year.
