The Lodge at Riverstone Opens this Weekend
September 16, 2017
Madera, CA - A grand celebration is in store this weekend for those visiting Riverstone, the new 2,000-acre master-planned community that is now open and selling in Madera County just north of Fresno. What’s being celebrated is the Grand Opening of The Lodge, the community’s first clubhouse. The festivities, which promise to be fun for the entire family, are scheduled for today and tomorrow from 12 noon to 4 pm on both days.
During the two-day Lodge Grand Opening celebration, the general public is invited to enjoy free food and refreshments, music, and have the chance to win great prizes. Visitors will also be able to take a tour of The Lodge and get an inside look at its many family-oriented offerings—including a resort-style pool, advanced fitness center, demonstration kitchen, Gear Barn outfitter’s cabin, and much more. The Lodge will also be open for viewing nearly every day of the week following the Grand Opening event. To schedule a tour, please call 559-785-1200. To reach Riverstone from Fresno, go north on Highway 41, turn left at Avenue 12 and follow the signs.
“This weekend’s Grand Opening of The Lodge will not only give everyone the chance to tour this forward-looking amenity—but it will give visiting families a firsthand opportunity to get a taste of Riverstone life within our Lodge District neighborhood,” said Riverstone’s Tim Jones.
The new family-friendly Lodge joins the other completed amenities of the Lodge District, which include two community parks and a number of hiking and biking trails. Collections of stylish, innovative new homes from McCaffrey Homes and Lennar Homes are now selling. The Lodge District’s first home-buying families started moving into their new homes in late June. The Lodge District will also feature an upcoming elementary school belonging to the award-winning Golden Valley Unified School District.
Expressing a distinctive, contemporary architectural style the architect calls ‘deconstructed agrarian industrialism’, The Lodge at Riverstone features open, exposed beams, grand windows for inspired views, and authentic building materials that are permanent and lasting.
Within the expansive interior spaces, residents are free to enjoy an array of exceptional amenities including a Great Room and flexible gathering places with WiFi, and a state-of-the-art Fitness Center with advanced exercise equipment. Just outside, The Lodge features a resort-style pool and spa with poolside cabanas, a children’s pool, an outdoor bar with firepit conversation areas, a community garden and a Gear Barn outfitter’s cabin featuring a variety of gear available for homeowners’ on- and off-site adventures. In addition, a Concierge is stationed in The Lodge to plan community-wide events and smaller gatherings.
Situated in the heart of the region’s path of growth, Riverstone—when complete—will total approximately 6,578 single-family, attached and multi-family homes, as well as commercial and mixed-use space including office, service and retail. Amenities at Riverstone are anticipated to include walkable neighborhoods, parks and open space, multiple community clubhouses, hiking and biking trails, a dog park, a community farm, historic olive and citrus groves, a sustainable water supply, and a number of on-site schools.
