It’s a Fun-Filled Fall at Riverstone

A months-long lineup of exciting events, activities and celebrations is planned for Madera County’s Riverstone this fall, which is just one of the many wonderful seasons of the year to enjoy life at this favorite Central Valley master-planned community.

Riverstone residents gathered on the Event Lawn at The Lodge to take in a free Summer Concert.

Riverstone residents came together earlier this month to enjoy a bocce ball social at Garden Park.

In addition to walkable neighborhoods of stylish and innovative homes surrounded by an abundance of parks and other family-friendly amenities, Riverstone is perhaps best known for its strong, welcoming sense of community.

“It has always been important for us to create that opportunity for people to enjoy a sense of belonging and a real relationship with their neighbors,” said Riverstone’s Tim Jones. “It puts a big smile on my face to know that so many of our neighbors have become very close friends.”

Added Riverstone resident Brian Enos: “We’ve been coming here to The Lodge at Riverstone for social events at least once a month. We’ve been to the Super Bowl party and the Christmas party where my wife and daughter learned how to decorate cakes…so that’s been an unexpected benefit as well.”

The calendar of fall events at Riverstone got underway earlier this month, starting with a Bocce Ball Social at Garden Park. The many wine lovers in the community came out for the Rio Del Vino Wine Club kickoff, a fun-yet-informative wine-tasting get-together that featured Toca Madera Winery’s very own winemaker.

Established by Toca Madera Winery exclusively for Riverstone residents, the new Wine Club offers an array of insider benefits such as special discounts on wine, tastings and winery events. Located near Riverstone on beautifully rolling terrain at the head of the Madera Wine Trail, Toca Madera produces truly unique handcrafted fine wines including special blends of estate wines for the sophisticated palate.

Riverstone’s final show in its ever-popular Summer Concert Series is scheduled for Friday, September 20th. Featuring country music artist John Pemberton and line dancing with Tammy, this last concert for 2019 is anticipated to be a huge hit with concertgoers dancing the night away.

Later this month, homeowners will be able to get in the spooky spirit during Get Crafty With Me, a fun event offering the chance to make custom Halloween crafts for porch signs and home décor. Two events planned for September 27th include Bunco Night (a monthly favorite among residents), and a celebration honoring National Chocolate Milk Day. Residents will be able to stop by The Lodge and enjoy a complimentary glass.

Then on September 28th and 29th, it’s time for the biannual Riverstone Community Yard Sale, a great way for resident families to enjoy each other’s company as they buy and sell all sorts of interesting household items.

Many of the community’s events take place in Riverstone’s “social epicenter”—The Lodge.
