Riverstone is Five Homebuilders Strong
May 12, 2019
The concept of “more” has always been important to the developers of the 2,000-acre Riverstone master plan. Since day one, the community has strived to offer more amenities, more ways for families to connect and thrive, and more new-home styles and sizes that give today’s homebuyers the opportunity to create a version of the American Dream they can call their very own.
A total of five national and local homebuilders are currently crafting beautiful collections of new homes that deliver on style, innovation and comfort within Riverstone’s first three neighborhoods—the Lodge District, Town Center District and Park District.
Bonadelle Neighborhoods—a local builder with more than 60 years of experience in the Central Valley—will soon be introducing Harvest at Riverstone, a limited collection of two-story, single-family homes that will blend superb craftsmanship with exceptional value. Giving homebuyers plenty of options, four different floorplans will be available—ranging from 1,209 to 1,579 square feet of living space with up to 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. A wide choice of distinctive exterior architectural styles will be offered, providing variety and uniqueness to each home.
Harvest at Riverstone is taking shape within the Town Center residential district, which is anticipated to brim with an abundance of charm, style and easygoing connectivity. Parks, commercial space and a wide variety of approximately 575 homes are planned, all connected by a Main Street thoroughfare and mixed-use central plaza.
Coming to Riverstone’s upcoming Park District will be a brand-new collection of luxurious single-family residences from award-winning homebuilder Wathen Castanos Homes. Presenting a wide variety of sizes, styles and features, Lafayette at Riverstone will offer designs ranging in size from 2,641 to 3,754 square feet, with up to six bedrooms, five bathrooms and three-car garages.
A future residential neighborhood that will offer today’s families everything they need to stay together—and play together—the Park District is envisioned to feature beautiful neighborhoods of approximately 1,698 new homes within walking distance of rambling parks, a Civic Center, and a brand-new elementary school committed to academic excellence. In its heart will be a new community Clubhouse offering a full array of family-friendly amenities.
The concept of “more” is also coming to Riverstone in terms of new and exciting retail experiences. Planning activities continue for Riverwalk, a new shopping, dining and entertainment destination envisioned for two parcels located at Avenue 12 and Highway 41 that will include more than one million square feet of commercial, Class-A office and retail space. A new creatively imagined development that will be steps away for Riverstone homeowners, Riverwalk is expected to provide visitors with a one-of-a-kind, indoor-outdoor retail experience that celebrates the agrarian heritage of both Riverstone and the region.
Situated in the heart of the region’s path of growth, Riverstone—when complete—will total approximately 6,578 single-family, attached and multi-family homes, as well as commercial and mixed-use space including office, service and retail. Amenities at Riverstone are anticipated to include walkable neighborhoods, parks and open space, multiple community clubhouses, hiking and biking trails, a dog park, a community farm, historic olive and citrus groves, a sustainable water supply, and on-site schools belonging to the award-winning Golden Valley Unified School District.

The freshwater lake eight miles from Riverstone is full of fish and ready. There’s also Millerton Lake, just 13 miles away. Happy angling!
