Springtime Living, Riverstone-Style

May 1, 2022

Springtime is here. That means warmer weather and more outdoor family fun and togetherness—and residents of the master-planned community of Riverstone have many ways to enjoy this special season of the year.

A clubhouse like no other, The Lodge at Riverstone features an advanced Fitness Center, demonstration kitchen, an outdoor bar with firepits, an onsite Concierge, a Gear Barn and much more.
The Lodge’s resort-style pool and children’s pool are both ideal for refreshing family fun. Residents can also lounge in style within comfortable poolside cabanas.

Central to springtime gathering and fun is The Lodge, Riverstone’s inaugural resort-style community clubhouse. Situated in the heart of the Lodge District residential neighborhood, The Lodge is a one-of-a-kind venue that takes its architectural inspiration from the west’s National Park lodges of yesteryear. The contemporary-agrarian style of The Lodge features open, exposed beams, grand windows for inspired views, and authentic building materials that are permanent and lasting.

Within The Lodge’s expansive interior spaces, Riverstone families are free to enjoy an array of exceptional amenities including a Great Room and flexible gathering places with WiFi, a spacious demonstration kitchen, and a state-of-the-art Fitness Center—an innovative, fitness trainer-designed facility offering advanced exercise equipment as well as free weights.

“We designed The Lodge to be an inviting hangout that’s comfortable enough to call your second living room,” said Riverstone’s Tim Jones. “Like an extension of our residents’ homes, it’s a place where you can meet up with friends, take a cooking class, hit the gym, or unwind in the evening with good neighbors around the big outdoor firepit. It’s always comfortable and easygoing at The Lodge, and it’s truly one of the best things about Riverstone living.”

The resort-style pool and spa at The Lodge are now open for the season, a favorite amenity that fully embraces the Valley’s idyllic springtime weather. The setting also includes comfortable poolside cabanas, and a children’s pool and splash pad reserved for Riverstone’s youngest residents.

Nothing says springtime like a leisurely family bike ride, a fun pastime that will soon be enjoyed along Riverstone’s future network of hiking and biking trails. Construction is underway on the start of the exciting trail system, which is a highly anticipated offering that has been many years in the making. An exclusive amenity available only to Riverstone residents and accessible via a special key fob, the private trails are envisioned to eventually link all of Riverstone’s residential districts together.

The first trail completed in Riverstone’s extensive trail network, Old Farm Trail, is expected to intersect existing agricultural lands and extend to an overlook affording picturesque orchard vistas. A series of engaging outposts is being considered as a possible amenity along the trails, which could offer places for a workout, a picnic, or just a spot to relax while connecting to the natural soulfulness of the land.

Playing in the park is also synonymous with springtime, and the Lodge District gives residents a total of five family-friendly parks to choose from. Conveniently situated a short walk or bike ride away from every home, the parks have it all—everything from swings, slides and climbing structures to barbecue areas and even an enclosed mini field for soccer and field hockey games.

Springtime fun of the canine variety is found at Central Bark, Riverstone’s creatively imagined dog park. Designed for fido fun and dog-owner sociability, the park features separate areas for small breeds and big breeds—all with trees, fun dog fountains and open-space areas ideal for running, frolicking and disc catching.

Situated in the heart of the region’s path of growth, Riverstone—when complete—will total approximately 6,578 single-family, attached and multi-family homes. Coming soon is the one-million-square-foot Riverwalk mixed-use lifestyle retail destination. Amenities at Riverstone include walkable neighborhoods, parks and open space, a dog park, a sustainable water supply and The Lodge community clubhouse with resort-style swimming pools, a trainer-designed fitness center, demonstration kitchen, Gear Barn, outdoor gathering spaces with firepits, and ongoing monthly activities such as self-defense classes, book clubs, arts and crafts, specialty meal cooking classes and more. Future amenities are anticipated to include hiking and biking trails, a community farm and much more.
