Papi’s Mex Grill Opens at Riverwalk

It has been a busy and exciting year for Riverwalk, the new lifestyle retail destination located directly across the street from the Madera County master-planned community of Riverstone. The latest excitement, to the delight of local foodies and restaurant-goers, is the recent Riverwalk debut of Papi’s Mex Grill.

Offering a variety of popular stores, fast casual dining options and more, the upcoming Riverwalk retail destination will bring everyday convenience close to home.

Located directly across the street from Riverstone’s collection of homes, Riverwalk is planned to include condominiums, offices, restaurants, retail stores and a movie theater. Image is an artist’s rendition.

A local favorite that has been serving authentic and delicious Mexican cuisine in the Valley for nearly a decade, Papi’s focuses on grilled Mexican dishes such as fajitas, seafood specialties and amazing tacos—and the restaurant is also very well known for its amazing margaritas with all-day happy hours on Sundays and Mondays.

“In our planning of Riverwalk, we’ve always envisioned it as a retail district that celebrates the specialness of Valley life, and Papi’s undoubtedly brings its own unique local flavor to the mix,” said Riverstone’s Tim Jones. “Whether it’s a business lunch, a family dinner or meeting up with friends for margaritas, Papi’s is a lively spot for great food and sociable fun.”

Papi’s Mex Grill joins a growing number of other retailers that are now open at Riverwalk, including a Fresh Fill food market with an in-store Juice It Up!, Judy’s Donuts and Dutch Bros. Coffee—a much-loved brand that serves specialty coffee drinks, smoothies, freezes, teas and more.

Other restaurant tenants on the way to Riverwalk include American eatery and tap house, Blast & Brew, with its famous sister company, Me-n-Ed’s Pizza, located right next door. Also coming soon will be Riley’s Brewing Company, with a unique, two-story design concept that will be a beautiful new showcase for the restaurant’s truly distinctive food, brews, spirits and specialty beverages.

When complete, the 50-acre Riverwalk is anticipated to offer a live-work-shop-play dynamic unique to the North Fresno area, and those desiring to live close to the action can find home within a limited collection of above-retail condominiums. “We recognize that some of today’s new homeowners want to live surrounded by urban energy,” continued Tim Jones, “and they will be able to do exactly that with our contemporary, style-forward residences at Riverwalk.”
