Riverstone’s Season of Sociability

April 28, 2024

Spring has always been a time of fun get-togethers at the master-planned community of Riverstone, and this year proves to be no exception. This past month saw residents of all ages come together in the enjoyment of a wide variety of exciting springtime events and activities.

Many of Riverstone’s activities, events and social get-togethers take place at The Lodge community clubhouse, a unique indoor-outdoor venue comfortable enough to call your second living room.
The Demonstration Kitchen at The Lodge hosts many programs and workshops. The Lodge also features swimming pools, an advanced Fitness Center, an outdoor bar with firepits, the Gear Barn and much more.

During Riverstone’s annual Spring Yard Sale, which was held the first weekend of this month, residents had the chance to meet up with other neighbors and browse through a wide assortment of yard and garage sales in search of bargain-priced finds—everything from vintage and antique items, to rare collectibles and one-of-a-kind handmade crafts.

Riverstone residents had the unique opportunity to experience pure tranquility during this month’s Sound Bath, an evening of healing harmony facilitated by certified practitioners from locally based Tune Into Zen. Those in attendance for the meditative experience were “bathed” in sound waves from crystal singing bowls, resonant vibrations, rhythms and tones that helped to lower stress levels and reduce tension in the body. Many residents found solace in the collective energy of the session, emerging more refreshed, revitalized and deeply aligned.

The first-ever Riverstone Derby was a well-attended event. Many residents came out for an unforgettable residents-only, 21+ evening of fun, flamboyant derby-inspired fashion and a little friendly competition while watching and wagering on virtual racehorses as they thundered towards the finish line. The event, like many events at Riverstone, featured a food truck roundup, giving attendees the chance to enjoy both savory and sweet items from some of the Central Valley’s most creative street food entrepreneurs.

“The heart of our community has always been our close-knit sense of togetherness, and it’s always so exciting to be a part of it,” said Riverstone’s Tim Jones. “Through our regular events and gatherings, we’re able to enrich the lives of our residents with opportunities for social connection and the joy of belonging to a community of resident families who know, support and care for one another.”

At the Ayurvedic Lifestyle Principles Workshop, held last week at Riverstone, residents were able to explore the transformative principles of Ayurveda through the guidance of a Chopra-certified wellbeing coach and teacher. Many found the experiential workshop to be a great jumpstart to their journey towards holistic wellbeing.

This past Friday at Riverstone, residents came out to enjoy Line Dancing Night, an evening to remember that was filled with the company of good friends, good country music and good food from a roundup of local food trucks.

Most events and activities at Riverstone take place at The Lodge, the community’s first clubhouse. Exuding a distinctive contemporary-meets-agrarian architectural style, The Lodge is a popular hangout comfortable enough to call ‘your second living room’ complete with a Great Room and flexible gathering places with WiFi, a resort-style swimming pool with cabanas, an outdoor bar with firepits, an advanced, trainer-designed Fitness Center, an outfitter’s cabin and much more.

Situated in the heart of the region’s path of growth, Riverstone—when complete—will total approximately 6,578 single-family, attached and multi-family homes. Coming soon is the one-million-square-foot Riverwalk mixed-use lifestyle retail destination. Amenities at Riverstone include walkable neighborhoods, parks and open space, a private trail network for hiking and biking, a dog park, a sustainable water supply and The Lodge community clubhouse with resort-style swimming pools, a trainer-designed fitness center, demonstration kitchen, Gear Barn, outdoor gathering spaces with firepits, and ongoing monthly activities such as self-defense classes, book clubs, arts and crafts, specialty meal cooking classes and more.
