Spring is Sociable at Riverstone

April 28, 2023

To know Riverstone is to know that it is a master-planned community that knows how to have fun. Now that spring has arrived, the lively and sociable togetherness has been felt all throughout the community as neighbors of all ages have been taking advantage of Riverstone’s regular offering of programs and exciting springtime events and activities.

The expansive lawn at The Lodge has hosted a wide array of Riverstone events, including this month’s Easter EGGStravaganza celebration.
Springtime gathering is easy at The Lodge, Riverstone’s first community clubhouse. It features an outdoor bar with firepits, an advanced Fitness Center, an outfitter’s cabin and much more.

Following on the success of last year’s Easter celebration at Riverstone which was enjoyed by more than 300 kids and parents, this year’s Easter EGGStravaganza was just as popular. Held on April 8th outside The Lodge at Riverstone, the family-centric get-together featured a carnival theme with a bounce house, face paintings and balloon animals, a magic show and food trucks, and special photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. Everyone who attended was treated with a complimentary Easter goodie-bag filled with small toys and sweet treats.

Also at The Lodge this month, residents enjoyed another round of the popular Trivia Night. The winners received valuable gift cards, and the spirited competition was followed by the lively fun of a karaoke sing-off.

Many of Riverstone’s college basketball fans made The Lodge their second living room during the final game of March Madness—which was televised all throughout the community clubhouse on a total of eight screens. Complimentary appetizers as well as beer and wine were enjoyed by all, and those with the top three brackets scored valuable sports-related prizes.

“We’ve always believed home should be much more than a house,” said Riverstone’s Tim Jones. “That’s why we put so much effort into making sure our resident families belong to a close-knit community of neighbors and friends. With all the different programs, events and activities we offer year after year, it’s so easy to catch up with good friends, make new ones, and look forward to life together.”

A spring-themed Paint Night also took place earlier this month at The Lodge, a fun get-together with food and drink that gave residents hands-on instruction on how to create their own spring-inspired painting that would make for a thoughtful gift or look gorgeous in their Riverstone homes.

Riverstone’s annual Spring Yard Sale was held in early April, giving residents the chance to meet up with other neighbors and browse through a wide variety of different sales in search of bargain-priced finds—everything from vintage and antique items, to rare collectibles and one-of-a-kind handmade crafts.

One of the most well-loved series of events at Riverstone—especially for foodies—is the food truck roundup that takes place at The Lodge parking lot every Friday night from 5 to 9 pm. Featuring a rotation of five to seven food trucks, residents get the chance to enjoy both savory and sweet items from some of the Central Valley’s most creative street food entrepreneurs.

Situated in the heart of the region’s path of growth, Riverstone—when complete—will total approximately 6,578 single-family, attached and multi-family homes. Coming soon is the one-million-square-foot Riverwalk mixed-use lifestyle retail destination. Amenities at Riverstone include walkable neighborhoods, parks and open space, a dog park, a sustainable water supply and The Lodge community clubhouse with resort-style swimming pools, a trainer-designed fitness center, demonstration kitchen, Gear Barn, outdoor gathering spaces with firepits, and ongoing monthly activities such as self-defense classes, book clubs, arts and crafts, specialty meal cooking classes and more. Future amenities are anticipated to include hiking and biking trails, a community farm and much more.
