Riverstone’s 8 Districts: So Many Ways to Feel Right at Home

Madera, CA - If there’s one thing to know about the new 2,000-acre master-planned community of Riverstone, it’s that residents will enjoy a unique way of life that’s as multi-dimensional as it gets. When Riverstone is completed, the community is planned to comprise eight distinct districts overall, with each district presenting its own sense of place and character, and its own collection of homes and amenities.

Riverstone’s first district, known as The Lodge District, is a family-friendly neighborhood currently under construction. Wide sidewalks along tree-lined streets will lead to six community parks including a dog park, hiking and biking trails, an anticipated elementary school and Riverstone’s inaugural collection of new residences from McCaffrey Homes and Lennar.

At the heart of the district is The Lodge, the first of many community clubhouses that will be built all throughout Riverstone. An easy walk away from the district’s homes, The Lodge will be a resort-style clubhouse that showcases a contemporary, agrarian-influenced architectural vernacular inspired by the magnificence of the West’s National Park lodges of yesteryear.

As the urban side of Riverstone, the future Civic District is designed for those who desire day-to-night energy and metropolitan cool. The district is planned to include 40 acres of commercial and retail amenities, a series of parks, a community clubhouse and approximately 771 homes in a range of styles.

The Town Center, the smallest future district of Riverstone, is expected to offer an abundance of charm, style and easygoing connectivity. Parks, commercial space and a wide variety of approximately 575 homes are planned, all connected by a Main Street thoroughfare and mixed-use central plaza.

 Rising from former orange groves, the future Grove District is envisioned to feature a number of parks, approximately 1,449 new homes, a community clubhouse as well as a future school conveniently situated in the district’s heart.    

The future Park District is planned to offer beautiful neighborhoods of approximately 1,698 new homes within walking distance of rambling parks, a Civic Center, another community clubhouse and a brand-new elementary school.

Anticipated as Riverstone’s most exclusive neighborhood, the future Club District will offer the joys of a luxurious life in the country. A sprawling, indoor-outdoor community clubhouse and new elementary school are planned for the heart of the district, all surrounded by roughly 1,223 new homes and inviting pocket parks that beckon discovery.

The future River District, six miles from Riverstone, is envisioned to comprise a beautiful stretch of the San Joaquin River and an adjacent lake. Open space and recreational amenities are planned, designed to give future residents the opportunity for family fun amidst the wonders of nature.
